The leaves, oh the leaves of this Fancy Fern will keep you entertain for hours. Or at least, they sure did as I was drawing them. So I would assume the effect would be the same if you are viewing them - but you and I both knows what happens when you assume anything. The drawing is part of my Fall 2009 Botanical Plant collection, one of three in the series. I spent a lot of time on the shape and pattern of this plant. Concept came from those old plant discovery illustrations.

A remedy to cure all - or in other terms an elixir of life. To bad these bottles don't exist much anymore and their contents are even harder to find. The drawing is part of my Fall 2009 Vintage Medical & Pharmacy collection, one of three in the series. I'm a big fan of the detail on the label with this artwork. Plus the hand drawn type treatment. That part is always tricky to pull off. Bottoms up!

This drawing really pulled together the vintage them in a big way. The study of Phrenology is so interesting from a historical point of view and a scientific point of view. I draw the sections based on standard illustrations I could find. However, the sections of the brain are made up for the most part. I figured out it would be fun to just do what I wanted in that vain. The drawing is part of my Fall 2009 Vintage Medical & Pharmacy collection, one of three in the series.

Simply drawing based on vintage old Stethoscopes from the late 1800s. Several transitional tubes that connect to each other, not 100% sure on the engineering purpose of that but it came out pretty sweet. The drawing is part of my Fall 2009 Vintage Medical & Pharmacy collection, one of three in the series. Adore the simplicity of this drawing, because I sure do.
